About
Background & Training
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience supporting children, families, and individuals across diverse healthcare and community settings.
I received a Bachelor of Social Work from Pacific University in 2012 and a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2013. In addition to being licensed in Oregon, I hold an Independent Clinical Social Worker license in Washington State. I have worked in healthcare with children and adults in various settings, including over a decade at a Portland-based children's hospital. Most recently I have served children and families navigating chronic illness. I also have experience with grief and trauma work. I use techniques and interventions from the Internal Family Systems model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to name a few. In roles as a group facilitator, crisis worker, case manager, and trauma responder, I have honed my ability to provide effective care in diverse and complex situations.
Personal:
I live in Oregon with my spouse, daughter, and Golden Irish, Yoshi. Our family is passionate about balance and spending time together. You will often find us checking out the Northwest’s remarkable outdoors via rock climbing, hiking, and camping.
